You are free to replace or update the LibVLC binaries (libvlc.dll, libvlccore.dll, and associated plugins) with compatible, unmodified versions from VideoLAN, in accordance with the LGPL v2.1 license.

IsoBuster validates LibVLC files for integrity and authenticity.
By default, only DLLs signed by VideoLAN are allowed.
Advanced users may override this behavior, at their own risk, by placing compatible LibVLC binaries in the Plugins\VLC folder.
However, use of altered binaries may disable video playback or trigger warning dialogs.
Do this at your own risk.

How to Set Up LibVLC Support in IsoBuster

Option #1: Install LibVLC via special installers, hosted by IsoBuster

Find the 32bit and 64bit installers here:
	https://www.isobuster.com/plugins.php

These installers basically do what is detailed in Option 2

Install LibVLC after you installed IsoBuster, so that the installers can find the path:
	Usually: %ProgramFiles%\Smart Projects\IsoBuster\Plugins\VLC\

Option #2: Install LibVLC manually in IsoBuster's plugin folder

    Download LibVLC binaries from NuGet:
    https://www.nuget.org/packages/VideoLAN.LibVLC.Windows
Use the "Download package" link on the right-hand side (~85 MB)

Rename the downloaded .nupkg file to .zip and extract it using any ZIP tool.

    For 64-bit IsoBuster:
    Navigate to \build\x64

    For 32-bit IsoBuster:
    Navigate to \build\x86

Copy the following files to IsoBuster's sub-folder:
    %ProgramFiles%\Smart Projects\IsoBuster\Plugins\VLC\

        libvlc.dll
        libvlccore.dll
		The entire \plugins\ folder

Done! IsoBuster will detect and use LibVLC.

 Option #3: Use a system-installed VLC

Alternatively, you can test the feature by installing VLC Media Player:
	https://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html

Install the 64-bit version if you're using IsoBuster 64-bit
Install the 32-bit version if you're using IsoBuster 32-bit

IsoBuster will detect the installed VLC and use its LibVLC components.
